Jim indicates "Memorial Day or sooner".

Apparently one of the vendors is in the process of moving production locations. It's never easy when dealing with multiple vendors.... 🤣

The glass is ready, so the frame manufacturer...? The assembler?

Bad news on this front. Talked to Dan Santos at Applied GMC who told me there was some problem with the factory location. He said he was supposed to get an update that day but didn't sound very optimistic about product being available anytime soon. He did verify that I was signed up and informed me that they have a master list of everyone who has purchased the advance item (is that what you call it? That $25 we paid).

Talked to Jim K. today. All parts are ready and in one place. The assembler moved shop (this has been mentioned in a few posts) and is not yet ready to assemble. Still waiting....

Jim indicates the supplier/assembler of the windows hasn't been returning communications lately....

Hmm. Hoping he gets movement on this, and the aluminum intake he's attempting to reproduce from the Mondellos out there.

I'd love a squarebore intake with the heat crossover blocked.

Talked to Jim K.

In theory, there will be at least one coach at the April GMCMI rally with the new windows (perhaps more widows...?). Jim is also waiting for a window as he has one side broken on his coach....😱 He asked me to call him back at the end of March for an update.

I hope they show up before fall, I have been working my way forward on the coach and plan on cockpit work this fall. My fingers are crossed for everybody!!!

I have been putting off the fiberglass work I need to do, but I don't know how much longer I can drive around with cracks and holes in my front end. It'd be real nice to only take the cockpit interior apart once!

Does the roof cap have to come out, or just the side panels? If just the sides, that shouldn't be too onerous....

I think it's just the side panels but I'm not positive. The way my PO trimmed things out though, there are several other things in the way of the side panels.
