    Heinz It is not electric, but it is hinged on the centerline of the step. It folds "up/inward" for travel, reducing the "projection" distance. I was able to leave the step-stool behind with this permanent addition. It is made/sold by Ragusa Pattern works, and he makes other aluminum aftermarket...
