I really value simplicity, so I'm staying away from fuel injection systems for the 455. That said, I really can't stand the looks of concern you get when your 53 year old Motorhome cranks for more than 10 seconds.it's even worse when the damn v-belts squeal. I would love to do a serp-belt setup one day

The aux fuel pump deal works great.
So switch the tank to aux. hear the pump. Press the gas pedal a few times. (3 works on most). Then start
It up. After it running, switch gas to main. It is good to āprimeā the carb. But very good to give that electric pump some exercise as well as the selector valve. Usually starts quicker..
My coach has efi now. So I just start it and drive.
