Toby,
Those articles by Wes Caughlan were terrific. Thanks for some real data and
rationale. I'll now keep my G159 equipped Alcoa's at 80+ psi and run in
auto on the air ride.

Subject: GMC: Wes Caughlan's 1983 Tire Article
For those to whom I sent the Zipped file with the two
PDFs, there might have been a glitch in the mail delivery.
If you only got part of the file(s), my apologies. (Mail has
been a little hinky at this end for a couple of days . . .)
For you, and anybody else who might be interested, I've
added both parts of the article to my Web page.
http://www.pe.net/~tmaki/
Click on "GMC Stuff" in the nav bar in the left frame, then
scroll down and click on the file icon(s) next to the titles
"How To Damage a Tire . . ."
Pardon the photos. I was given a bad Xerox of a bad
Xerox. But it's readable, and hopefully will add to the
catalog of information about tires, weight and weighing,
and the GMC.
