GMCs are NOT SHOW VEHICLES. Who cares if they have an industrial V-belt
instead of a genuine GM factory belt with a period correct date. Function
takes precedence over form here.
I have owned show cars, and they have been subjected to severe
scrutiny from Concours judges, and nit pick points taken off for non
standard paint colors on engine accessories and the like. A bone stock GMC
coach ia a truly rare bird after 40+ years of various owners and back woods
mechanics working on keeping them running and reliable enough to safely
transport our families on today's highways. They were built to use.
