Greetings,
I have a 1996 2 door Rav4 manual trans/4wheel drive that I am going pull behind my 78 Royale with Falcon2 tow bar. I realize that I must keep the
ignition on the car turned to the on position to unlock the steering & keep the 12v cig lighter/accessory plug hot for the supplemental braking system
for the Rav4.
I have previously installed a blade type fuse panel in the rear of my Royale with multiple extra terminals, replacing the old glass buss type fuse
box.
Is it possible to run a wired lead with say a 30 amp fuse from the blade fuse panel to the battery leads on the Rav4 to keep the Rav4 battery from
dying while towing?
I have only a 4 terminal trailer plug wired up to my Royale that I do not wish to replace, since I'm going to be using magnetic "trailer" lights in
the towed.
Thanks,
Amdgmcman
