This is probably "With Sleeve", or "Without Sleeve". These sleeves are
common these days.
Some times the cover seal cuts a groove in the harmonic damper and will
not seal properly.
The sleeve is pressed onto the sealing face of the damper and provides a
new surface for the
cover seal to ride on. Inspect the damper for a groove. Or perhaps the
oil was seeping at that
point before you pulled it apart.
These sleeves are available seperately as well. Usually a drop of
Loctite is used as well.
I have used them on other vehicles and they work well. They can be
tricky to put on, as they
are very thin.
