Hi Billy!
Yes, that is our coach. Our home was hit by a Tornado back in July which basically brought the GMC work to a halt. The year before that we lost the last half of the summer due to COVID. Since progress for the last two years was basically at a stand still... we listed it. We really hated to see it go. It was very close to being done. Countless hours and a bucket of $$$ went into getting it to where it is. The old saying is very true... you can buy a GMC for $20k or you can buy one for $1K and spend $19k redoing it.
Regards,
Lyle

Lyle,
The thought is correct, but the calibration is way off. The oft quoted line here is:
A Reliable and Ready to travel GMC will cost you 35K$us. That is all at once or as a kit. What is not included when we say this is that sweat is credited at Full Shop Rate. So, you should value your time at ~125$us/hr. When you think about that, you can afford a lot of nice tools in that cost line.. Do It.

The Mountainares Club had a rally in Greeley, Colorado and invited a local repair shop foreman to discuss services they provided for our GMC motorhomes. The shop rate 2 years ago was $175.
