Back in the late 80s, a buddy and I went to the Hershey Old Car meet. In
the
GMC, of course. I had to look at all the GMCs I found. found a used car
salesman
from, I believe, Virginia with a GMC that had been an airport bus. Still
had the
bi-fold door conversion. Anyway, he had a rear panel that was hinged at
the
bottom and swung down to make a ramp. He carried a late 30s Austin roadster
in the back. Seems like it used a garage door spring to pull the ramp up.
Don't remember much else.
