I have a 78, which has welded studs making the mirror
much harder to install as the studs are short.
However, I understand that Ramco now has an arm
with the correct angle for the GMC that does not require
a shim.
Do you know if the mirrors you are ordering require an
extra shim for correct angle - or are they correct for
the GMC. If a shim is not required - my bolts may come
thru far enough to put a nut on.
Let me know if you have any info regarding this. Feel
free to call me at 1-888-766-4835 (It's toll free) or
email me at mike
Thanks

GMCnetters,
I thought I had wrapped up the orders for Ramco mirrors last month. I had
several more inquiries in Myrtle Beach if the price was still good. I
called
Ramco today and was told I had been misquoted and billed $15 per pair less
than I should have been. However, they said since I had quoted $312.50 per
pair, shipped, they would honor that price this week if ordered through me.
So, the Ramco mirror I talk about is the 2102HR-GMC, which is the powered
and
heated upper mirror and manual lower convex mirror, with turn signals
attached
to the arm.
If anyone wants a set, then email me at jrwheeler7 by Thursday
evening
and I will place an order on Friday. You can order direct from Ramco for
about $385 or from Caspro for about $485. I make no money on these; I
actually lost several dollars per order for those mirrors shipped to the
West
coast. Oh well, just happy to pass on a good deal. Would appreciate the
same
from others as you run across a good deal.
Signing off now to go watch the Blue Devils get the NCAA crown.
