That parking pawl inside the transmission has a severe case of the
"fragiles". If the coach is moving, even a little bit, and someone "slams
that sucker into park" you can full well expect to be "taking that sucker
apart, and replacing the parking pawl" Pays me now, or pays me later, your
choice. The TM 425 is a rugged, reliable transmission, but, it doesn't care
much for being "slammed" into gear.
