Progressive insurance?

Even if you self-insure, you need an authoritative(Jim B, Jim K, others?), written appraisal on file in case someone plows into your coach. Their
insurance company of the at-fault vehicle is going to go for the low-ball settlement.

I went with progressive. And also added RV PLUS to my AAA POLICY......to get the 100 mile to my choice of destination tow policy to back up
progressives tow to nearest "qualified" facility.

Confirmed that the 200 million tow in the RV premium AAA does NOT cover motorhomes (website is not at all clear) so saved $70 sticking with just the
plus.

No Coach yet but likely center kitchen, dry side bath Royale, 78, 403, hopefully with good original white Imron paint.

AAA RV Premium towed my GMC motorhome at no cost.

When I drove back from Ohio last fall I broke down near the NE corner of Colorado.
175 miles from home. My insurer, National Interstate told me to arrange a tow with the tow company of my choice and send them the bill.
The tow company charged $10 per mile, $1750.00. I mailed the bill to National Interstate and they called me in 3 days and said they had received my claim
and that they would be mailing me a check within two days. I had them tow me home but they would have towed even farther if I had wanted them to.
Great service with no cost to me.

Supposed to be 100 miles, but they have towed it farther with no issue.
