The referenced keys from Autozone do NOT fit my 1977 door. I have looked for a year for the door lock cylinder so I tried this too. If anyone knows of
another I can try please post.

The NO (Mike) got three sets of keys with the 23'. I only climbed in the side window once, and then went and had some dupes made. Cheap insurance.

I now have a dead bolt below the original locking handle, & abandoned the lock mechanism from the original handle. Now it's just a pull latch. The dead bolt gives much better security.

Try the GMCMI parts listing. If not, Rock Auto has them listed for a 77 Toronado. Look up a "Lock Cylinder"

http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/oldsmobile,1977,toronado,6.6l+403cid+v8,1225763,body,door+lock+cylinder,10007

It is a common part. I got one from AZ years ago by just bringing in the old one and they matched it up.

Use a plastic bag tie to put a spare key on the speedo cable up front under
the hatch.
If you can't get into yours because you've lost your key, you'll at least
be able to get into someone elses to keep warm and have a snack while you
call for help!

Life is too short to hold a grudge; slash some tires and call it even !

How long will The coaches be in Brandon for? There is a small chance I might be in Terry Mississippi in the middle of this month.

I got keys made. The locksmith was able to make three sets of new
origiinals that fit the existing cylinders. For both coaches. :)

They're not going anywhere any time soon. My mechanic needs to hire a
helper (switching those wheels around is a two man job). Don't sweat it.

I have switched the wheels around by myself more than once.
Does he really need a helper?
