Were an Onan Dealer and sell and service them for GMC MH.
You will need to settle for 2.5 as the space will not allow on a 23'
We can quote you delivered price for one, so you can compare, plus we will
advise on how to install them properly without overheating.

If you refer to the 3600 RPM single cylinder Onan, I'd shine it on. The first one failed a lot. I put a Freight, Harbor 7KW set with the same engine
family in my 23'. It was the smallest they had with an electric starter. Ken Henderson put a somewhat smaller Troy - Bilt set in his.

If I was doing it again I'd put a spring and solenoid on the choke and remote the air filter for easier access. Worked fine though, and ran
everything in the coach on demand. Roughly 600 bucks all up.

Foolish Carriage, 76 26' Eleganza(?) with beaucoup mods and add - ons.

I forgive them all, save those who hurt the dogs. They must answer to me in hell

And here's the link to my TroyBilt installation:

I've never gotten around to any of the mentioned changes (like heavier duty
slides), nor have I had to do ANY repair nor changes since then. It's
always fired up within a few seconds and powered everything well. It
barely changes speed with sudden load changes. A GREAT improvement over
the 3X as expensive Generac 36G it replaced.
