There is only one advantage to having the compressor and tank and solenoids
inside the coach. They are out of the weather. But a downside to the
Powerlevel located amidships would be the additional amounts of air lines
running back and forth to the valves in the dash. The Electrolevel I has
only wires running back and forth, that is why it is located amidships.
Same for the EL II.
