Modern drivetrain

I'm with you - that is why I keep looking for a reasonable way to "stretch" our PB to allow twins in back - that way we can sleep in same room, as opposed to one in bed (bedroom) and one(me) on front bunk bed!

PS: contemplated (and finally rejected) idea of just using chainsaw etc. :d

""No it doesn't. I am referring to car engines where high revving hp is not
what we want. (Think Honda or Toyota in civic type cars here) Torque motors
like the 455/ Cadillac 500 make torque at a much lower rpm and often has
less hp to boot.

your math may vary, im no engineer, I am in Psychiatry. lol

Sammy, modern high revving engines have flat torque curves from 2000 rpm all the way to 6000 rpm. I just drove the new 5.3 GM small block and by all accounts it is a high revving engine by modern standards and blows away any big block 70's or 80's engine in any speed range. In fact if you want to look a little closer (not in a psych book btw) you will see that virtually any naturally aspirated small engine will out do an old big block in torque and HP through out the RPM range.
