Was the GMC originally equipped with a jack and lug wrench? If so,
where did they hide it?

Both are pretty big objects and should not be hard to find, if there.
Mine are under the bed.

Yes. The jack was about 2' tall and used a chain to lift the front
bumper or the rear bogie. The lug wrench was a typical car type with
a socket on one end and a flat on the other end to remove the wheel
cover. Forget both of them. They were useless.

I have a transmode that I am converting to MH use and it came with a lug
wrench that was anything but useless. Mine is 52 inches long!! I can
lossen and tighen the lugs without the usual gritting of teeth, etc. It
even has loosened a lug that an air impact wrench could not remove. I
store it in the long box that came in this transmode that is accross from
the dinette.

I didn't get the factory lift so I use a auto shop style flooor jack.

Doubt if it was original but who knows with the transmodes.
I made a wrench similar to what Thom describes. It would always loosen
a wheel nut no matter how tight. Used a 3/4" T bar, a short extension,
a socket to fit the nut and most importantly, a 5' pipe to
fit over the T bar. Don't know about moving the earth but it sure
loosened those lug nuts.

I don't know about yours, but mine is bolted to the frame inside the right
front engine access door. It's hose clamped to the master cylinder at the top.

I believe under the front coach. IF anyone thinks that it is not useful.
How would you get the tires changed on the side that has a flat tire and a
deflated air bag caused by a blown tire? To low for any other jack that I
have seen.

Mine is under a false floor in the closet, on top of the genset housing.

When I picked mine up new at the dealer, I found the jack and wrench
under the coach in a plastic bag.
