We found some locally, but,after a long search, found it in Bridgeport and it
was $15.00 per yard, more than the $3.00 per yard fabric we got on clearance
for the drape material itself. What Julie did (she is the best at this sort of
thing) was to buy a set of drapes (ugly) at a tag sale for $5.00 that had a
backing in perfect condition. She used a razor to cut the seams and viola, she
had plenty of material for our drapes. The drapes she cut up into a couple of
table cloths and some rags.
I probably will come home to find the kids dressed up in clothes made from the
fabric like in "The Sound of Music".
