Dust Caps

Al.........Dorman products are common at almost any auto parts store. They sell and manufacture all sorts of stuff.

Al

Just happened to pickup one of the Ford caps yesterday

Ford Part number C8TZ-1131-C

They are packaged two to a box

I wanted to see what they looked like as I need to repack /replace my rear
wheel bearings and will replace them at that time

They look good but I have not been invoiced for them yet so I cannot tell
you what they cost.

Is this dust cap the inner one covering and protecting the wheel bearing,
axle shaft nut, and cotter pin or the outer chromed one?

Called local Ford dealer. They quoted a list price of $4.86 and claimed it
was a package of one cap?

You can also go to a Ford dealer. They are an exact fit and I believe about
three or four dollars. I read the part number in some recent publication.
If I find it I'll post it for you. Aparrently they are about half the price
of the GMC ones.
