Is there a way to know which set of upper control arm bushings to order before you dismantle everything? I see some kits offer one "offset" bushing for each side to be placed on the backside.

Bill, I see in your signature line that you have Sully bags and the Lenzi mid brakes. Are you having issues with the 3rd axle locking up under hard braking?
This is where a membership in GMC Motorhomes International comes in. They send out a printed parts exchange book every year. On their website there is a parts list for non-,members as well, but you need to register to view it.
Best way is to buy from the GMC Vendors to make sure they are right the first time.

On the Applied GMC website, their master kit includes the urethane bushings. There are no instructions included with the kit.
The bushings are bare on the outside, are we supposed to retain the old original outer shell of the rubber bushing?
If that steel shell is discarded or destroyed while re-bushing the control arm, what can be used instead?
Figured I'd bring this thread back up as I will need to do control arm bushings in the near future. It appears that the bushing kit here would be the ideal kit to use?

The replacement lower ball joints are not ideal. Check your lowers for spec(per manual). You might find that they are good.
