Is there a way to know which set of upper control arm bushings to order before you dismantle everything? I see some kits offer one "offset" bushing for each side to be placed on the backside.
Bill, I see in your signature line that you have Sully bags and the Lenzi mid brakes. Are you having issues with the 3rd axle locking up under hard braking?Definitely order the offset bushings, one per side for the upper control arms. I assume you'll align afterwards and they provide more caster which is a good thing.
Thank you, Bruce. Very helpful. This is where a membership in GMC Motorhomes International comes in. They send out a printed parts exchange book every year. On their website there is a parts list for non-,members as well, but you need to register to view it.
Best way is to buy from the GMC Vendors to make sure they are right the first time.
I also have numbers: Moog-K7006 or Napa-267-1440
For offset try Moog- K7104
Steve Ferguson used to sell urethane bushings, but I'm not sure if he still does.
