Marcus,
Could have been! They did not have SS line when I left but it would be
a welcome improvement. I am very interested in this project and am
following it with high hopes. I have many customers not on the net that
could benifit from such a part. I thought I would call the company next
week to see if they had a wholesale pricing structure that I could pass
on to you.

The trans. lines would also be a great upgrade part, these are the kind
of things I want to pass on to the general GMC community!

Will get involved in the conversation if I find out anything
meaningfull.

Dick,
The rear brake hose Golby has is a perfect fit, the only difference is
the center block is squared off as opposed to rounded and who really
cares! Actually, if you look at someones hoses, it is easy to see if
they have been replaced recently, squared blocks mean they are new!

Golby went through the expense of having those built, they are the
supplier to everyone, if it's square- it's a Golby. The only other unit
is offered by Cinnabar which has the rounded block.

The hose part numbers I posted earlier are in error. When I started putting
it together it didn't go together quite right. It turned out that the hoses
have a 7/16-20 thread while the brake fittings are 7/16-24. I assume that I
could have gone back and gotten the right thread but didn't pursue it. The
Golby price is about $48 per side which is near enough that it isn't worth
pursuing.

I will compile the list of people that have asked for Stainless Steel
brakelines both for the 26' and the 23' by Friday and post it for additions
and subtractions if there are any mistakes. Am waiting now for other GMC
clubs to answer that I notified. The more we can get in one buy the better
price we will get.

Am also waiting for someone to verify the differences between the 26' and
the 23'. Is it only 3' shorter in the straight run to the back?

I assume that any 26' GMC as originally built accepts the same set of brake
lines? That theres no difference between the GM furnished models and those by
Coachman - the Royales, for example?

I'd like a set of the ss brake lines for my 1977 Royale. : )

What else is required for a complete "Brake line" replacement? I've seen
mentioned hoses and "T" sections?
I'm sure these questions have been answered but I must have missed them.
