hello all. i have an American appliance ( oem ?)with a 4bolt element. cannot find a 120 volt 100watt replacement. options if you please thanks again larry

bdub thanks for your reply. 120 volt stock.. 240 volt would work with existing circuits ? larry
The heating element is just a resistive load, a metal element that heats up due to its resistance to the flow of electric current. There is no problem and some benefits to using a 240v element. Simple and inexpensive solution that is also readily available anywhere. The thread that bdub posted has all the information.

Richard thanks for all your help! the attachment bdub sent is great ! the forum is great . Ordered the adapter and a 120 volt 1000watt element for faster recovery larry

It's a 4,000 watt 240 Volt element you want. When this element is operated from 120V, it will only use 1,000 watts.
The benefit of the 240V element is it is more robust than the 120V 1Kw element.
