Get an adapter, Go with a 240v element.hello all. i have an American appliance ( oem ?)with a 4bolt element. cannot find a 120 volt 100watt replacement. options if you please thanks again larry
The heating element is just a resistive load, a metal element that heats up due to its resistance to the flow of electric current. There is no problem and some benefits to using a 240v element. Simple and inexpensive solution that is also readily available anywhere. The thread that bdub posted has all the information.bdub thanks for your reply. 120 volt stock.. 240 volt would work with existing circuits ? larry
