Glad to hear you got it home with only the one problem. When we got it, it had a hole in one headlight. It still worked but looked bad so replaced it. I also aligned them, other then that I didn't have any issues with them, but then I didn't drive it much at night. GMC used a lot of those self resetting CB's and they can become problematic with age. I had an intermittent issue with the AC on our other GMC and after chasing it for a couple years took it to an AC shop with a wire wizard han he found one of those CB's had gone bad. Nothing $700 couldn't fix but it works great now.

Louis - got back a little late with headlight quitting had to wait for daylight. Not a problem got a good nights sleep. Very comfy. No other issues. Got home and manual says there's sort of circuit breaker at the light switch that should reset after 40 seconds if there's a short. Started poking around - found nothing obvious then
wife came out and said headlights were on so maybe it reset. Don't know and do hate itermittents but I'll fool with it some more. Otherwise both very happy with the buggy and appreciate your help and all your work on those several hundred squawks.

Congrats on the very nice rig!

If you're having light issues just replace them with the Toyota H4 Upgrade kit. The kit includes a wiring harness with relays, so the headlights are powered directly from the battery, and the switches only control the relays after installation. It reduces the current load on all the old wiring and should fix that issue you have with the sketchy circuit breaker.

I had a bit of fun watching my headlamp order travel at a snails pace from Louisiana to Buffalo taking over 2 weeks.

For $15, plus $15 shipping and luke warm reviews of the company I thought 50/50 chance I was getting scammed LOL

But today it actually arrived! Toyota/Lexus quality lighting that removes the amp load from the headlamp switch.

I'll post order details and report on item quality...

Yeah, it's pretty sweet. Lucky to find it after looking at a lot of what was available for awhile. The work and detail that Louis put into the coach machinery was what I was looking for and much appreciated hoping to avoid a hanger queen. Seems most of what I wiil do is improving or replacing some of the old gear(like switches, bulbs, chargers) and some interior customization in the settee area. Maybe add solar but will want to hear others experience with it.
