Why are you asking this on the GMCnet?
If you want a correct answer you should be asking the GMCMI Convention Manager, Kim Weeks. kimweeksgmc

However removing the fender liners can allow water and mud and road grime to splash against the engine.
I have an album on the GMC photos site showing height I installed a louvered vent in the side of the wheel well liner. I’m not at home right now but if anyone wants the link let me know...
You actually don’t need another gauge. Just a switch. You can have a sensor going in and another going out and just switch the two sensors to the one gauge with a switch.

Don’t put shop compressed air to your radiator. You could easily blow it out.
If you have an original radiator you could regulate it to perhaps 15 psi and it should work.
However you are much better off using a Stant radiator pressure tester such as...
Does anyone have a diagram showing the connectors, wire colors and what
they lead to?
I thought there was one on this list but I cannot find it.

Could you tell from the shaft/O Ring why it was sticking?

I believe those Carter pumps have check valves.
Put the filter on the suction side.(between the pump and the tank).

You should stay with the HEI. If you have any problems on the road you can find parts about everywhere

An electric fuel pump will help not to have vapor lock but don’t think you never will.
Especially at high elevations on hot days.
The only way I have finally eliminated vapor lock was a few years ago when I installed in-tank fuel pumps.

You should hit on both sides of the housing opposite each other if you can. That would keep it from wedging to one side as it moves up.
You don ’t have much room to get much swing on the hammer which is why he used the side of the hammer.

He hit the bottom of the top bell of the housing.
I thought he might damage it but there was no damage.

I had much the same problem when I recently had my engine overhauled.
I could not pull the distributor. It would rotate but not come up.
Bruce Hart was helping me and he took a small ball peen hammer and although he didn’t have much room to swing it he used the side of the hammer and tapped...
I checked the Parts book 78Z and it clearly refers to a 40 amp cord. It doesn’t show a 50 amp cord. I can provide the page number in the parts book if you need it.
It looks like Bill Helmouth (could that have been Bill Helmore) gave you incorrect information.
Since your prior owner replace your...
Actually they didn’t. Many people, including you, assume that they have a 50 amp cord but look at your cord and you’ll see that it is marked 40 amps.
The plug is the same as a 50 amp but the 40 amp cord matches the two 20 amp breakers in the box.

No beads but it felt like the boot was full of lead weights. My foot felt it was floating after I got out of the boot.
Also hard to walk with both feet the same height above the ground.
I was almost afraid to mention it as there are so many people in much worse shape. I wish them all the best...
How many people do you have in addition to the 3 dogs and 2 cats?
I used to travel with my four children and wife in my GMC.
Do the dogs and cats take up that much room?

Merry Christmas to all and Happy Hanukkah to some.
Hope you are all enjoying it.
I got an early Christmas present last Monday. My Orthopeadic took the boot from my left broken foot and said I no longer needed to wear it (8 weeks now).
Special prayers to those that could not join their...
