Yellow ribbon

I am on my way north , was going to K falls but now am worried might the
snow and Ice, might just go the coast.

It was about 40 Deg, at that altitude and latitude around 9:00am. Now it
is falling rapidly. (2-3 deg per hour or more). That's got to be a cold front
coming through. What time would you be going through, gene?

Well... the weather gods must have heard that and raised the readings,
just to throw us off. It's back up to 38 to 40 but I saw a 36, less than an
hour ago on Willemette.

Looks like the sun broke out near Lake of the Woods and is helping to raise the
temperature. Without the sun, the temperature was falling and I would be
suspicious
of whether it is the air temp or the probe temperature that dipped and then
climbed.

I am going to try and get over to visit you one day. This time, I have
determined I am going up the coast and spend a few days looking out at the
water. Then on to Cottage Grove to visit with my mom (86) and some time at
Florence fixing up the old homestead. I don't think I will make it over the
hill toward you this time but have a lot of family in K Falls so will be
there sometime. Might have to wait for summer now.
