First thing you should do is hook up with the local chapter GMC Noreasters. Coaches come on the market all the time and the chapter usually knows about it first. Tell them you are looking and get to a rally when you can to look at the variety of coaches. Next keep a constant watch on both Craig's List and what ever cheap/free sales rag you can find. Heirs often post there because they know no better. Lastly, get over to GMCMI and download the GMC Assist list (aka Black's). If you see something interesting, find someone to help you look at it. Someone that knows GMCs.

And I hear you re: heirs

I looked at three recently and all were owned by either 90+ year olds or their heir. Very sad to say that I think a lot of these are going to be coming on the market in the next 10 years and not a lot of younger people are interested in keeping a 55 year old motorhome running down the road safely.
