Hi Folks

Fleet Specialties ad in Family Motor Coaching rekindled my desire to guard
against blowout, etc.

I actuall bought a system a few years back but deemed it too miserable to
install so it's just taken up space ( after making space in the
pocketbook ).

Just wondering if anyone is using one or has explored using one. This
particular one is called Tire Sentry and I think it might be the same one
Camping World advertises.

Not enough toys yet.
Heinz

Arch,
I ordered it today. About 2 week delivery.
Will report on it as soon as i get my paws on it.

Some one asked for a new topic...

Has any one installed and/or using tire pressure monitors on
all the tires? Equipment is available. If anyone has done
this, we would like to hear your comments

The following site is about monitoring equipment:

Hi Hal,

I think they would be ideal for the towed vehicle. I worry about getting
a flat tire on the Toad and being the last one to learn about it!

Hope to get it before I have to leave at the end of feb. I ordered the 6x4
model so that rig and toad is covered. My biggest concern is how it will
work with all my other wireless stuff running around :-) as well as inverter
and PC's running.

Will be keeping the list posted.

I can help a little. I purchased my transmode from the EPA./ they used
it as a mobile Lab to test Air Quality. They had tire pressure monitors
installed, but removed most of the pieces prior to my purchase. Here's
where I can help;

They left the sensors in the front suspension along with the wires up to
the chassie. The wires were cut and the original non-sensored factory
steel wheels were put back on. I can only describe the setup now (Until I
get my Kodak DC260) if you wish.
