I had winterfeld put in my 3.42 cinnibar final drive. I looked at the engine
he had finished. It was beautiful. He did tell me he did engine swaps where
they were in 6 hours. I am impressed and would like to see one done.

Just chatted with Winterfeldt about doing my motor swap. Man, does this guy
know his stuff! He is twice what a Jasper motor is but he sounds like he
does A LOT more to his engines... new valve seats and guides, stainless
valves, new springs and seals, racing pistons even roller tappets! Sounds
like he may just be the "reasonable" way to go for the long haul.

Funny thing, he asked if the coach was on a flat surface. I said sure and he
said fine, he could pull the swap in a day right in my driveway! Save me the
towing charge and guarantee the engine for 5 years/50,000. Man this guy must
be good.

Nate,
That would be a sight to see. Someone pulls up to your house with
a truck and swaps your GMC engine while it sits in the drive.
I'd pay money to see a video of that.

No one should question Winterfeldts knowledge about engines, he is good.
But watch out for his warrenty.!!!!

My engine blew after 22,000 miles at the International in New Hampshire and
I have yet to receive one cent from him. At the time he did not have an
engine made up that he could ship or bring to me at Concord. When we
agreed over the phone on a dollar adjustment, he insisted that the old block
be returned to him.

At the International in Las Vegas he again promised to honor the warrenty
when his financial problems improved .but he does not even answer letters or
phone calls.

I ordered a Jasper on Wednesday, they shipped Air Express on Friday, we
received it on Monday and we were on the road on Wednesday thanks to
excellant service by Mike Glovers shop in Kingston. To date I have over
20,00 miles on the Jasper with good results
