I discussed this project tonight on the phone with Ken at Preferred Glass who is setting this up. He is arranging with the people who will do the
work, finding the quantities of replacement windshields that we need, and arranging for delivery of the product to Amana.

Due to availability of facilities at Amana, it now looks like installs will start on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning (Sept 23 and 24) rather than
the usual Saturday mornings we have done at all of the past rallies. This might change.

As soon as he gets some firm commitments, prices, and availability out of the glass supplier, I will announce the details and open up reservations.

To the people that have already sent me emails, I have saved those away and will contact you as soon as the firm details are worked out. I expect
that to be in the next few days.

If you need to contact me regarding this project, please use PM or email.

To enlighten those who may not understand, this effort by Ken is no simple
catering order. The logistics of ordering/receiving/inspecting/installing
windshields which are uncommon, awkwardly shaped and not easily installed
by most glass installers is nothing short of a lion heart display. But he
has done it a few times so there are economies of scale. 😜 U should all
buy him a beer or a coffee. Or a Redbull.
