Chuck,
The OEM wipers are hydraulic driven by the power steering pump so, vacuum
changes would have nothing to do with them cycling. It has to be in the
control valve or linkage somewhere. someone on the net probably has had it
happen. Hope they notice the post.

The wipers on my coach intermittently slowly cycle. It may happen only once
or twice a day but not sure why. It's not always at power or braking or
vacuum changes.
If there is any certain connections to check please give me a hint.

Chuck - under the driver's side front hatch you'll find a cable that
goes to a lever that operates the windshield wipers. There is a
screw that holds the clamp for the cable housing. Loosen the screw
and adjust the cable housing a little and it'll probably solve your
intermittent wiper action.

I had "Intermittent random wiper action also" I found that
the valve was not being closed all the way bacause the
cable was jamming. I opened the drivers side hood and
forced the lever further towards the closed position by
hand. This made the problem go away until I used them from
the cab again. I then carefully lubricated the cable and
lever pivot points and the problem disapeared. BTW the
lever should move with almost no effort from the dash.
