Windshield wiper motor

Hi Guys and Gals

Any body out there have a windshield wiper motor they don't need?? One that
works, that is. A fellow GMCer (He's not a computer type, yet) is having a
problem. The wipers will cycle ramdomly when in the off position. He says it
happens usually when he lets off of the gas pedal. Go figure!!

This problem may be solved by cleaning the filter and/or adjusting the
wiper control linkage. Emery posted a way of adjusting the link recently.

line! I keep telling him waht he is missing by not having a computer but
he says he has you!

Don, and the computer less GMC Repair person..

I second Emory's recommendation.

Having been there and done that. Although it took a couple of tries at
readjusting the linkage. The first attempt only decreased the frequency of
the Phantom Wipe (Don't give that phrase too much thought , bad image)
