Hello everyone,

This is my first post to the list since I purchased a '73 Glacier 2
weeks ago. It has 79,000 miles and was owned by an aircraft mechanic who
maintained it meticulously until 1984, at that time it went to Arizona
for use as a college dorm for 4 years and then it returned to Seattle
where I purchased it as-is at an IRS distress sale (read cheap!!). I
need to perform quite a bit of TLC and deferred maintanence on the
coach. I plan on tearing down and lubing the suspension as required and
would appreciate any advice on this. Fortunately the interior is
original and in fairly good condition, except the rubber window seals
are mostly all rotted away and I am looking for a replacement source.
The first thing I did was order a passenger side windshield to replace
the cracked one. I have replaced auto windshields before and was a bit
surprised when the glass arrived weighing 140 lbs. Has anyone listening
replaced their glass before?

Cheers :)

I second that. You might also have them quote pulling the other and
resealing it while they're at it. Most of them leak after 25 years.
