I am corresponding with another GMC owner, and she has stumped me with this
request. Can anybody recommend a sealant that they have successfully used
in this area?

TIA

Jim bounds told me that a NEW rubber windshield
gasket is now available. Not real cheap at $150
but next time I change a windshield - sounds like
a good idea. He said rear is also avail for under
$50. 1-877-ask4gmc

To seal my windshield, I bought a 30 year silicone
sealer at Home Depot. After 1.5 years - still no leaks,
