Does anyone know if I can swap out the 1973 windows and frames to a later 1978 windows. I can’t seem to find the felt seals and the windows leak everywhere. I just think that the rubber seals around the frame work better. If I can swap frames can the old sliding windows work as well?

You cannot swap the glass, but I do believe that you can swap the whole window assembly.

I got a guy trashing out a GMC and he threw half the windows away. He still has the frames and windshield. I was hoping to swap out glass but I guess that’s not an option. Is it me or does it seem line the felt seals leak more than the later model rubber seals?

I believe that the seals are essentially the same, but the 40+ year newer seals have an advantage.
