Ritch I assume that what you are looking to make from the kitchen
cutting board is a plastic installation tool for the gasket.

Rich,
If you are installing the gaskets around the outside of the window
glass, I found that the ideal tool is a trim clip release tool. They're
inexpensive and the only tool made that reaches under the stainless
window trim to release the trim from the clip on 70's vehicles. It has
a raised handle that allows you to place the hooked end of the tool flat
up against the glass while allowing clearance for your knuckles. I
believe I found it at Napa in the Lyle tool section. I have seen
others.

Thanks to the following contributors offering alternatives to my proposed
hacked polyethylene kitchen cutting board window installing tool, as
opposed to wearing out your thumbs in the traditional "hands on" manner.
