Why Did I Order This?

I received the following from Amazon.Com today attached to an order for a GMC boost relay:

V75113 (Pack of 5)
113 Vinton O-ring
75A Durometer Black
9/16" ID, 3/4" OD, 3/32" Width

This arrived as an add-on to an order. It showed up as not orderable by itself but must be attached to something else that is ordered. I must have
tried to order it in the past and had it refused. My problem now is I have absolutely no idea what it was for. It has to be something that saw here
to order but what was it?

Transmission dipstick tube? Maybe trans filter o-ring?

Mr. Burton,

I know this is not helpful, but your forum post brought me some joy this morning.

First Call me Ken (or an idiot) or forgetful or something like that. Mr. Burton was my father who died 24 years ago. If he were still alive he would
be 106 today.

I have no idea why or even when I ordered this. I'm hoping someone else call tell me whatever it was that I forgot.

I do like the previous posting suggesting it might go in the air bag but I think it is too small for that.
Hmmm????
I wonder if that is it and why I would order it?

I haven't had an airbag apart for many years and maybe my memory is defective on that subject also.

I went out and found my extras from the air bag/cone refurb. Those o rings i got at Home Depot. Labelled Danco 96734, #17 O-ring 1 1/16 od, 7/8 id, x
3/32. Just in case someone wants those...

Does not sound like the answer to your purchase though!

Thank you very much for looking those up. I thought the air bag ones were a little larger than the ones I received yesterday.

That is a great and just might work since no one here so far has any idea why I ordered them.

Well it appears to be a dip stick tube O-ring. I have no idea why or when I ordered this. Thanks everyone because I had no idea what it was.

I feel your pain.

I've been cleaning my shop for a month and have a ton of things that fall into that category...'what the hell is this and why do I have it?' Followed
shortly by 'I still don't know what it is but where can I put it so I can find it when I realize I need it." Followed shortly by 'OH, that goes with
this...I might need that someday...I should put it with the other part.' Followed a hour later by 'Where the (6#% did I put that thing, I've looked
everywhere.'

Those of you who have been to my shop will understand.

I'll tell what is worse. That item arrived 3 days ago. Today I have no idea where I put it. It will show up a couple of years from now.

Oh well, I guess that I really did not need it in the first place.

I have a file on my computer labeled "Locations".
When I put something away, I put its location in "locations".
And sometimes I actually remember to do that.
Even with the oops's, it's better than nothing.
