I need a wheel or two. 16.5 radial rated. When I went to San Diego
this spring i had a slow leak in a wheel. Went to a junkyard that was
totally computerized. Yes we have two. It came out from behind the
counter and was brand new for $50. Had my tire mounted, put it on the
rear of the coach and drove home with my D rated spare on the front
right. All other tires are E. Went to local tire dealer to switch
tires on wheels only to discover that I had been sold a 16' wheel or rim
(your choice).

So with egg on my face and another lesson learned I need help.

Spareless in Santa Fe

Thanks in advance

>Your dealer was wise to look first. A couple of years ago a shop
employee was mounting used tire/wheel and the combo of mismatched tire
and wheel blew up in his face.

The guy who sold the tire and wheel was sued as was the maker of the
wheel and the maker of the tire. (As if it was their fault!) The
purchaser had picked the wheel out one pile and the tire out of another.

And that is what happened a couple of years ago.......
