We joined both that and Harvest Hosts this year and I have gotten little use, but there is still hope. I know it won't happen on the way to
Mansfield. I am planning to bring the coach, but it is only a little long on walking distance for us.

I have some interesting news to relate to members of either.

Matt, we joined Boondockers Welcome a few months ago but haven't used it yet. Our trip to Utah didn't have any places available that would accept our
26'. I think it is a good idea and look forward to being able to use it.

A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

I also joined Harvest Hosts, but have been too busy with the new garage to take advantage. I had not heard of Boondockers Welcome before. Sounds
like something I will try next season.

The first trip of the year for me might be Mansfield.

I also joined Boondockers, although haven't had an opportunity to take advantage of any of their host sites, and I don't have any place to offer as a
host. Many of them don't want pets, which I can understand, but that limits me, since I always have the pups with me. Haven't looked into Harvest
Hosts, though I have heard of them.

What have you heard, Matt?

PJ,

There is a problem in their system. Many respond as rig length as only the length of towed part. If you do try again, be sure to say that the 26' is
the whole package (unless you have a towed behind).

We have hosted nine just this year as we only signed up last winter. If you get to using it, contact me.

Richard,

Harvest Hosts is a definite time membership, so, according to their rules you will loose out... .
But, if you were to contact them and tell them that due to circumstances beyond your control you could not take advantage of the membership, they
might extend it for you.

Well Steve,

I can say that it works for others and it may be good for me when we are back on 6 tires. The best thing to me right now is that the host credits
don't expire because I may not get to use any this year.

Deb,

If you are a member of BW, you can get a deal on joining HH. I don't know what the relation ship is, but the deal is better than nothing.....

It's a 20% discount (since you brought it up, I went back and checked - and just used it!). Pretty decent. I will look at taking full advantage of
them next season. Came to ~$100 total for both.
Just FYI, if anyone is interested, if you haven't joined either yet, if you use the code RVGEEKS10 (the RVgeeks.com) you can get a 10% off on the
Boondockers membership fee as well. There are also a few other discounts there (including your FMCA membership for next time maybe?)
