I may be mistaken, but if you have Load Range E tires and only fill
them up to the Load Range D pressure, what is the point in buying Load
Range E? At 65psi, they can carry no more than a D load safely anyway.
Last I knew, less pressure causes increased sidewall flex, which
increases tire heat, which causes tire failure. And if you say you are
NOT overloading the tires, then why waste money on Load Range E tires?
I'm no tire engineer, but I feel I missed something here.
The Load Range C tires on my 6000 pound 16' Class C call for max
capacity of 1735 lbs each at 50psi, so 55-65 for Es sounds awfully low
to me.

Ditto hating the ride at 80lbs.
I'm back to 65 lb range... for good.
