I just applied a brand of roof coating called 'Snow Roof' that is
specifically made for RV roofs. Got it at my local ACE at about $20 per
gallon. I talked to the manufacter in Oregon and explained that I was
covering some riveted on patches left by the previous owner - The EPA. The
only advice was to remove ALL silicone that may have been used previous as
the new coating would not adhear to it. It took 1 1/2 gallons to do the
entire roof. The material if like very thick latex paint (It even cleans
up with water). Had a 1 inch rainstorm last night and VOILA, no leaks
(except the front window ---- grrrrrrr). I will be carrying the remaining
1/2 gallon in case of repairs that might be neede from tree limbs, etc.
