Hi guys' read a lot about this subject for the past few days. Suggest
you select a good replacement (metallurgical speaking) One that will
shrink fairly fast as well as expand. Put it in your freezer for about
two hours, put a little silicone around the edges, put it up against
when it is going to go. If you can tap it in go for it. If you can not
get a piece of wood or steel long enough to go behind the mount and
stick out on both sides and put in your smallest pieces of tooling like
a crow bar on both sides and just push it in. You have to be fairly
quick as the coldness from the plug will be absorbed buy the block but
if you are quick it will slide right in. It is very important to ensure
it is even all around. Chuck
