Where is your water pump switch?

My GMC is gutted, I have the switch for the water pump. Just can’t figure out where it’s supposed to go. It’s a 73 if that matters.

It's very useful to have a pump switch in the bathroom as well as in the cabin. Check JimK's site for the kit.

+1. Mine uses an automotive switch with a built in timer from a rear window defogger. See this thread for the details/part number:

Here's the 1/2" to 3/8" Flair-It coupler that saved the day, along with a photo showing that the drain knob is reachable without removing the cabinet. Note also the (gasp) Chrysler rear window defogger timer/switch I use to temporarily turn on the water pump from the bathroom. And oops, looks like I reinstalled the cover plate upside down

I put mine at the front door and it is the only switch.

I have the light switch operate a relay across the water pump switch. This takes the high current load off the light switch.

Since the water pump switch indicator lamp comes ON when someone is in the bathroom, it provides a handy "Bathroom in use" indicator! ... OR someone left the lights ON in the bathroom!

I rarely turn the lights on to use the bathroom, but I do think I'll add a switch in the bathroom, esp with a timer!

In 73-74, the water pump switch was on the kitchen wall above the sink. In 75, they went to the yellow illuminated switch by the door. (The change might have happened mid-year in 74...not sure.)
