It's very useful to have a pump switch in the bathroom as well as in the cabin. Check JimK's site for the kit.My GMC is gutted, I have the switch for the water pump. Just can’t figure out where it’s supposed to go. It’s a 73 if that matters.
Thanks fellas.
+1. Mine uses an automotive switch with a built in timer from a rear window defogger. See this thread for the details/part number:It's very useful to have a pump switch in the bathroom as well as in the cabin. Check JimK's site for the kit.

I have the light switch operate a relay across the water pump switch. This takes the high current load off the light switch.Emery Stora wired the water pump to one of the bathroom light switches.

I rarely turn the lights on to use the bathroom, but I do think I'll add a switch in the bathroom, esp with a timer! That makes so much sense.
