Ours is a smaller unit (20 some inches maybe) on a fold down bracket under the front cabinet behind the passenger chair. This allows my 3 kids to
watch tv while we drive down the road from the couch, but we can fold it up out of the way once we arrive. We have 110 AC in the cabinet from both an
inverter and from some regular plugs, so we can use the tv and the dvd player with or without the generator while driving. There is also a coax
running up there, but since we don't use the tv when parked, except in the rare case of serious rain, we have never used it. Finally, there is a coax
cable running to the driver's side cabinet in the way back, but we've never had a tv there and there is no electric. I'd have to run some from that
plug over the hallway most likely. Thankfully we have no interest in having another tv.
We did run a headphone cord from the tv up and over the headliner to the area behind the couch, added a 5 way splitter, and some headphones. The kids
are now able to hear the tv much better when driving, something we always had problems with but exacerbated by adding a second AC up front. The
headphones are an awesome solution. Not only do I no longer have to listen to kids' tv shows while driving and can instead use the radio, but they put
my kids in their own little silos so they fuss at each other a lot less as well.
