I used an epoxy to correct some cracks I had in the wheel well. They have
not broken yet and seem to be holding ok.

My curb side rear wheel enclosure has several cracks that look like they
came from a blowout the PO had. Has anyone successfully repaired one of
these? What works? I've thought about either using fiberglass or roof
cement behind an aluminum patch.

I have repaired the front ones. Think they are same material. Was =
afraid fiberglass would not stick, so drilled several 1/8' holes along =
either side of the cracks, repaired with fiberglass cloth and resin. It
=
seems to have worked. Been on two+ years, no failures.

Thanks Al & Byron - I think I'll pick up a West Epoxy repair kit at
Aircraft Spruce this weekend. I need to repair some headliner cracks
too. I'll report back on how it works.
