I did this a few years ago to make a temporary patch. The problem is
that the milk bottles are polyethylene and the plastic in the tank is
a different plastic. The melted polyethylene will get brittle when
overheated and will not hold too long. Mine held for about a month
while I was on a trip and when I got home I bought a new tank.
