After 10 days and 1600 miles I can report that the Equal (dry tire
balancing compound) seems to work flawlessly. I sure wish I had tried this
years ago. I would be very interested in hearing from others who have had
wheel balancing problems and tried Equal or another brand of dry tire
balancing compound.
I know that I am only one data point. But if others have had success with
this method of balancing their wheels then it sure would be helpful to
know. Dry tire balancing compound is a lot simpler and cheaper than the
other methods of wheel balancing I have seen discussed. If it works
consistently I am sure there are a few more (like me) who have been
fighting wheel balance problems who would be happy to know that there is a
cheap and simple solution avalable.
