I'd make a set of alignment checking fixtures ( free of course ) for GMC
list members if someone else would handle the loaning them out to ( and
getting them back from) members. If a couple sets were made, they could
easily be passed around among people for verification of wheel alignment,
and adjustment for the braver people who want to do that at home. It's
certainly no effort to make a tool specifically for the GMC that measures
with great accuracy.

Might be an idea just to loan them for postage costs for two weeks a a time
perhaps, or a similar period.

Think everything you'd need would fit in a four pound package about 4" x 4"
x 25" or thereabouts.

Is there interest? Let me know, could whip something good up quick.

I'd certainly be interested and appreciative of such a tool.
I'm not in the greatest position geographically to be the warden, but would
certainly be a borrowee.

Brent,

If your speaking of something that could be easily whipped up by the average
handyman, send some specifications and plans for the fixtures and I'll post
it on my site. If it's beyond the average wrenchers ability, then I'd be
happy to "host" a set. I've got easy access to UPS shipping.

Perhaps some of the Chapters might invest in a tool for their members.
