What Olds 350 engine had an aluminum intake manifold. Would the 307 also work?

Bob,

Don't bother looking for a 350 Olds aluminum intake. The only possibility
is a 70 W31 Cutlass, and
they are priced up on the moon. Olds collectors are snatching them up to
build fake W31 cars to
sell on Barret-Jackson. The only choice is on 82-85 307 Olds motors with a
casting # 22504086.
This has large ports which will match your 403 pretty well. AVOID the
manifold for the 85-90 307,
casting # 22528212, as it is the small port version. That's as much as I
know.
Oh yes, avoid the aluminum intake used on the 78-79 Cadillac with the 350
PFI. To lose weight they
gutted the intake and left it with no runner length which means less low end
torque.

Bob,

If the cross references are correct, the 307 manifold should fit. There
are several of those on eBay. Double check about fit though, cause I'm
just parroting what I've seen.

Bob,

The following demonstrates that I have an acute grasp on the obvious:

1) Have you done a search on eBay for the manifold?

2) Have you checked to see if and aftermarket manifold would fit under the engine hatch?

Thanks so much for the casting number. And the differences in different manifolds. Now I know what to ask for.
